Dental Nurse
Carlow Dental Centre is one of Ireland’s largest dental practices. We keep our patients at the heart of everything we do and smart, engaged employees are essential to our continued success.
We are currently going through a growth stage and require nurses to add to our team. Carlow Dental Centre is a very modern facility and has invested hugely in the most up-to-date technology and is an efficiently run and much organised practice.
The Clinic is devoted to its team and in the Carlow Dental Centre we use the most up-to-date technology and techniques with an emphasis on providing a prompt excellent level of patient care.
A huge amount is invested into our practice and our employees in relation to ongoing training. Staff will be funded to qualify in certain areas to enhance their current role and there is always career enhancement for the right candidates.
If you are a driven, ambitious dental nurse at the start of your career or you are an experienced nurse wanting to be the best that you can be this could be the position for you. The role is available for an immediate start.
Responsibilities:
The nurse will provide clinical services to patients in an effective and caring manner to a high standard that meets best practice. The dental nurse should see the role as working a part of a team where the nurse uses their clinical, communication and interpersonal skills to provide a seamless service whilst at all times liaising closely with the patient and the patient’s dentist.
Key Competencies:
· High degree of self-motivation.
· Evidence of personal and professional development.
· Effective administrating skills, with a high level of attention to detail, having a systematic and structured approach to tasks and processes.
· Good time management skills.
· Demonstrable computer skills in Word (preferably Microsoft Office) and email.
· Capability of clear and concise written communications. Ability to quickly build good rapport with new and existing patients.
· Displays a good deal of flexibility and is adaptable to change.
· Likes to work alone yet values their position within a team.
· Demonstrates good sound judgement.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay: €25,000.00-€38,000.00 per year
