body{font:16px Arial,Helvetica;}p{padding:10px;margin:0} Corporate Sustainability – Data Administrator Newbridge (Open to public competition) Bord na Móna currently has the need for a Corporate Sustainability – Data Administrator to support the delivery of our Corporate Sustainability Strategy and its statutory ESG reporting obligations, in particular managing ESG data sourced from across the business and ensuring that ESG IT application is operating effectively. The main duties and responsibilities of the role will include the following:
Support the Corporate Sustainability Team in managing ESG data from across the business.
Manage ESG data from across the organisation.
Engage with data owners to ensure that the requisite information is being correctly captured.
Effectively administer the ESG IT system, liaise with the system vendors post implementation; perform audits on the data quality and accuracy. Assist in the preparation of Bn M returns under SI 426/2014 (energy efficiency); work with the Corporate Sustainability Team in preparing company data for CSRD, CSDDD, Taxonomy reporting, and other disclosures both voluntary and as required by law.
Assist in the implementation of the ESG IT system and the auditing and assessment of compliance with the agreed processes and procedures across the company.
Engage with representatives from the business units and functional groups, to embed good ESG practice, policies and procedures into their respective activities.
Ensure that Data Owners in the Business and Functions are completing the ‘work-flows’ in respect of ESG data.
Administer the collation of Bord na Mona’s Scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions; contribute towards the Corporate Sustainability Team’s planning and steering of Bord na Móna’s journey to a net zero company.
Engage with the procurement team in managing ESG data as it relates to the company’s value chain and the sustainable attributes of purchased goods & services.
Support the HR team in the monitoring and data collection of ‘social’ metrics as defined by ESG legislation and voluntary disclosures.
Support the Finance team in the monitoring and data collection of the financial information necessary to quantify ESG metrics required by legislation and voluntary disclosures.

The Person: The ideal candidate will possess the following qualification, skills, knowledge and attributes:
Strong communication and influencing skills.
Experience in administration data management systems, understanding of ISO auditing an advantage.
Level 6 or higher qualification in Business, Science, Environmental, Sustainability or Engineering. A qualification in the area of Sustainability would be beneficial.
Experience with data management and IT systems is necessary; an understanding of ERP systems, or financial packages would be advantageous.
Proficiency in the English language is a requirement alongside eligibility to work in Ireland
