Contracts Manager – Laois
CSR is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to work on a few medium sized Residential projects in the midlands. The company is one of Ireland's leading Residential contractors over the last 20 years. They pride themselves on delivering high quality projects on time and within budget. Due to their ongoing success throughout Ireland, they are actively seeking a highly experienced Contracts Manager to join their team in Laois.
They are looking for a highly ambitious individual who wants to challenge themselves and excel in their career.
The Person

• 10+ years management experience on medium to large scale projects.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Degree / Higher Diploma qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent.
• Ambitious and self-motivated
• Team player and an excellent communicator
• Proficient IT Skills

The Role

• Providing specialist technical leadership
• Planning resourcing of projects and monitoring against budgets
• Implementation of best practice in project controls, performance management, and Project Reporting.
• monitoring sub-contractor performance and determining labour requirements.
• Ensuring staff is kept up to date with current legislation and training needs to meet the company’s objectives.
• Ensuring effective procurement and supply chain management
