Conference & Events Manager
We are hiring a Conference and Events Manager for a 4* Hotel based in Laois.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
Role Overview
Pay: €40,000.00-€45,000.00 per year

Role Overview
- Align with hotel diary to ensure smooth booking for conferences & events
- Setup/maintain conference rooms when required.
- Work with clients to organise events & conference from enquiries, setup and be there point of contact on day of events.
- To set up all conference rooms to the standard expected
- To assist customers who need assistance with any information that they require.
- To ensure that a presence is maintained at all times during the tea/coffee breaks.
- To assist guests with any requests that they may have. This involves going that “Extra Mile” to ensure guest satisfaction.
- To provide support in other areas of the hotel if required to do so.
- To ensure the budget in C+B is adhered to.
- To empty bins on a periodic basis throughout the day.
- To liaise with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the C&B Department and Hotel
- To supervise and organize staff on a daily basis.
- To ensure all guest queries are dealt with promptly
- To follow up on any invoices ensuring they are sent to accounts to ensure timely payment
- Previous experience in a Conference & Events position.
- Strong Guest Relations experience within hospitality.
- Ability to work under pressure with deadlines.
- Ability to coach and lead a team.
- Enforcing company policies and procedures.
- Ability to communicate to all team members and senior management.
Pay: €40,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
