Excel Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting an experienced Confectionery Baker to join our client, an award-winning retailer in North County Dublin. This role is a morning position starting at 5am.
Salary: €14.00-€17.00ph
My client is seeking a passionate and experienced baker to join their team. You will be responsible for creating and overseeing a variety of confectionery items in the bakery. The ideal candidate will have a creative flair and attention to detail that.
The role will suit a foodie who will thrive in a busy bakery and loves creating delicious confectionery treats!You will be joining a passionate team with plenty of room for progression and growth in your career.
The Idea Confectionery Baker:

Assisting the Head Baker in the day-to-day running of our busy in-store bakery department
Baking a range of breads
Baking novelty cakes and a full range of confectionery items
HACCP duties
Food preparation
Menu/product development
Waste management
Always providing a high level of customer service

Requirements of Confectionery Baker:

2-3 years experience as a baker is essential
In-depth knowledge of food safety procedures
Ability to work in a team
Ability to bake a variety of breads and cakes
Must follow food safety guidelines
Experience in ordering for bakery and managing waste within a fresh food area
Responsible for maintaining records
Minimize shrink and maintain low waste margins
Own transport

Previous experience in a fast-paced bakery and a detailed knowledge of confectionery baking techniques is essential
