Canteen Assistant
Main purpose of the role:
At Food Village.ie, we offer exceptional canteen services across Ireland, and we're looking for a dynamic Canteen Assistant to join our team at Cnoc Mhuire Granard Your primary role will be to create an exciting and welcoming environment for students and staff, ensuring they enjoy high-quality, nutritious meals every day. You will be instrumental in making our canteen the heart of the school, where excellence in food and service is always the goal. We are seeking passionate and dedicated Canteen Assistant who are responsible for the preparation of high-quality hot and cold deli products. Our goal is to ensure customer satisfaction is our number one priority, and we need individuals who share our commitment to exceptional service and food quality.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
· Responsible for the preparation of high quality hot and cold food products
· HACCP training is desirable but not necessary
· Excellent communication skills
· Previous customer service experience is an advantage
· The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, ability to multi task under pressure
· A passion for food and the ability to inspire shoppers.
· You will require your own transport and or ability to commute
· You will be required to undergo garda vetting.
· The operative will have basic computer literacy (web browsing) and the ability to work fast in a fast paced environment.
· You may be required to offer training, support, auditing and help in the setup of new school canteen services in your area.
Job Type: Part-time – School Term only.
Salary: €12.70 per hour
