Our client, Deluxe Bathrooms is a leading name in premium tiling solutions, is excited to announce the opening of our new retail store in Cork. They are dedicated to providing luxurious and innovative tile products. As they expand their presence, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead their Cork team to success.
Role Overview:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the new store, driving sales growth, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail sales, proven leadership abilities, and a passion for luxury home improvement products.

Pay: €40,000.00-€70,000.00 per year

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Identify opportunities for growth and development within the local market.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
- Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Foster a positive and motivating work environment.
- Ensure all customers receive a superior shopping experience.
- Address and resolve customer enquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
- Maintain high standards of store presentation and product display.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Oversee the implementation of company policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns.
- Develop local marketing initiatives to drive foot traffic and brand awareness.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in retail sales, preferably in the home improvement or luxury goods sector.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in using retail management software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Passion for luxury interior products and home improvement.
- Customer-focused with a keen eye for detail.
- Innovative thinker with a proactive approach to driving sales.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
- Base Salary: €40-€50k DOE
- OTE of up to €70k with performance bonuses and commission
- €5,000 signing bonus paid over first 12 months
Pay: €40,000.00-€70,000.00 per year
