Vacancy Overview
The Bagging operations involve the packaging, sealing and palletisation of Carbelac, Isolac and Optipep powders in 6-25 Kg (called 25kg lines) and Mini Bulk IBC bags.
Key Objectives:
Ensuring production is completed to required high standards.
Operation of 25kg and IBC bagging lines, Palletiser & Stretch-hooder.
Operation of Printers, Checkweighers and Metal detectors.
Setting up of vacuum system.
Cleaning and taking samples for Rotary Magnet.
Completion of all logs and data for traceability documentation.
Maintaining plant hygiene, GMP and Food Safety standards.
Keeping all relevant internal audits and record keeping up to the date.
Actively involved with Internal, Customer and Regulatory audits.
Identifying and assisting with plant issues and improvement projects.
Ensure rules and SOPs for health & safety, quality, food safety and PPE are adhered to at all times.
Completion of all quality sampling during production and in process testing.
Raise jobs on PEMAC to ensure maintenance are aware and issues can be resolved in a timely way.
Provide suggestions of continuous line / process improvements.
Conduct / contribute to problem-solving to resolve issues; escalate to appropriate management (where needed).
Actively contribute at daily L4 board meetings and KPIs and shift changeover meetings and PEMAC (for maintenance meetings).
Training of new personnel to Bagger and IBC.
Completion of corrective and preventative actions identified in monthly GMP (Safe Food 360) audits.
Scanning bags for stock control.
Ensure the area is kept in a clean, hygienic and safe state.
