Role:Airfreight Operations and Customer Service Coordinator Salary: Flexible based on experience. The range can be from €30,000 to €45,000 per annum. Location: North Dublin Working Hours: 09:00 to 17:30 Pay Frequency: Monthly. Overtime: Available with opportunities for a performance-based bonus. Pension: Company contributes to the pension scheme. This includes ensuring the smooth flow of goods through the supply chain and coordinating with carriers to meet deadlines. Responsibilities:
Oversee the full airfreight operation process, ensuring all documentation and regulations are adhered to.
Coordinate with carriers, customs authorities, and other key stakeholders to ensure the timely movement of shipments.
Provide top-notch customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving shipment-related issues.
Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients regarding shipment updates and status.
Monitor and manage shipment schedules to ensure deadlines are met.
Prepare and review documentation, including bills of lading, air waybills, and customs declarations.
Track the status of shipments and provide real-time updates to clients.
Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure seamless handling of shipments.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall operation process.
Requirements:
Proven experience in airfreight operations or a related logistics field.
Comprehensive understanding of airfreight documentation, processes, and regulations.
Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple client needs.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficiency with logistics software and shipment tracking tools.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
Familiarity with customs procedures and international shipping is highly desirable.
Knowledge of the North Dublin logistics landscape is advantageous.
