Aim Support Worker
Based in our Early Childhood Development Service (ECDS), the successful candidates will be responsible for the education and development of children in our care. This role requires a dedicated and passionate individual with a strong background in early childhood education, committed to fostering a nurturing and educational environment for young children.

Education Delivery:
- Develop and implement educational programs that align with Aistear and Siolta standards.
- Utilise the High Scope approach to support children’s learning and development, if applicable.
- Promote the holistic development of children through engaging and age-appropriate activities.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages children’s curiosity and learning.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children’s progress and activities.
- Use evaluation mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of educational programs and interventions.
- Utilise file-keeping software such as Salesforce to manage records and reports efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with the ECDS Manager and other team members to ensure a cohesive approach to child development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their child’s progress and any concerns.
- A FETAC/QQI Level 5/6 qualification in childcare or a related field is required.
- Demonstrated experience delivering education in accordance with Aistear and Siolta standards.
- Familiarity with the High Scope approach is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in evaluating the outcomes of educational programs and activities.
- Proficiency in using file-keeping software such as Salesforce is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development principles.
- Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
