As Senior Offshore Structural Engineer, you will be responsible to perform structural engineering services that meet Worley', its customers' and applicable regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
To succeed in this role, you should have minimum 10 years Offshore Structural Engineering experience having worked on Topsides and Jackets (substructure) and have experience in FEED and detailed design of offshore structures.

What you’ll do
We are looking for Senior Offshore Structural Engineer to join our team in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The role responsibilities include:
- Perform structural engineering services that meet Worley', its customers' and applicable regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
- Perform structural engineering services as a lead with little guidance such as: studies, analyses and provide recommend actions/solutions; review existing reports/available data
- Detail designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and report, develop solutions to install/remove equipment with no crane access; perform structural analysis utilizing the SACS™ (analysis types include In‐ place, loadout, transportation, installation) and develop local calculations to support the design.
- Communicate effectively with the structural engineering team and project stakeholders.
- Participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and follow required checking procedures.
- Ensure the project scope is clear and provide engineering estimates.
- Support junior personnel and workshare team within the structural engineering team.
- Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.
- Work with a team of designers to develop 3D model and drawings.
- Ensure discipline technical work meet all health, safety, environmental, and security requirements.
What you’ll have
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or similar)
- Minimum 10 years Offshore Structural Engineering experience having worked on Topsides and Jackets (substructure)
- Experience, in FEED and detailed design of offshore structures
- Oil and Gas Industry experience in green-field and brown-field projects
- Well versed with Structural Engineering software SACS (minimum 3 years) and able to perform in place, Fatigue and Pushover Analyses
- Good English communication skills (spoken & written)
- Demonstrates initiative and a willingness to learn and continuously improve on performance.
- Able to work on multiple projects of various size and complexity.
- To work efficiently and flexibly from the Worley Jakarta office, which follows Worley remote office location (Abu Dhabi Office), with a 3-hours’ time difference
