Oversee and supervise molding process to ensure high quality products are made at the lowest cost in a timely manner and to coordinate all production requirements to all production personnel to support on time delivery.
Responsibilities:
Organize the daily activities to ensure smooth operations
Provide appropriate training, as well as maintain and evaluate training records of production personnel
Ensure product quality and production efficiency by close monitoring of production processes and implementing appropriate corrective actions
Initiate the appropriate reaction plan for unstable or non-capable characteristics, and records specific action in the appropriate form
Enforce corrective and safe work practices and maintain good housekeeping
Organize to meet customers dateline with the process engineers and technicians
Initiate corrective actions and stop production when product quality does not conform to specifications
Make improvements of the machine parameter setting and advice on the amendment of operation instruction
Support additional production related projects or task as required by the management
Take reasonable care of workplace health and safety; abide by all EHS policies and procedures; cooperate with management and colleagues in EHS initiatives
Any other duties as and when assigned
Requirements:
NITEC/ITC/NTC/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Manufacturing
2-4 years of supervisory experience
Production process (Plastic processing) knowledge is advantageous
Independent and able to multi-task in face paced environment
Communicate well in English
