The Role:
Oxfam in Indonesia is looking for Finance Treasury Officer to responsible and execute treasury-related matters within the finance system, including monitoring cash flow, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing budgets and forecasts, and ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. This role supports Oxfam treasury management by performing monthly reconciliations, processing payments, and providing essential financial data to management. Additionally, the Treasury Finance Officer collaborates with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth financial processes and offers guidance on compliance and treasury-related matters to programme staff. Oxfam in moving forward to affiliate, the Country Finance Lead role requires ensuring a smooth change process in the country in two years with good analytical thinking in Financial risk management.

- Tech savvy, particularly in Excel, accounting software, and financial databases. Competent in using word processing, email, and databases (e.g., Oxfam’s system).

- Ability to assess, analyze, and report on complex financial data, providing actionable insights.
- Strong analytical skills to assess, interpret, and report on complex financial data, providing clear recommendations.
- A commitment to Oxfam’s mission and values, particularly gender equity and diversity in all aspects of work.
Knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of financial management practices, including budgeting, analysis, forecasting, fund coordination, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards and Indonesia’s tax regulations.
- Knowledge of financial systems, especially accounting software and databases, with specific proficiency in Excel and other relevant IT tools.
Experience
- At least three years of experience in finance roles, with a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Relevant experience in a similar NGO finance role is essential.
- At least three years of experience working in a finance position within an NGO, handling tasks such as budget preparation, financial reporting, and compliance with donor regulations.
