Job Description:
(farm)acy is our plant-powered pharmacy at Potato Head Suites. A space for guests to discover the healing potential of Indonesian plant-based remedies, products, and experiences. Our expert (farm)acist blends innovation and traditional herbal medicine to inspire positive change for a regenerative plant based future.
We are looking for a passionate Herbalist and Naturopath to support our expert (farm)acist in the running of the (farm)acy. Eager to learn and grow into the role of owning the space from a retail perspective, but also ultimately running the Workshops and Consultations offered.
Roles + Responsibilities:
Manage the Retail element of the (farm)acy- Manage the product inventory and stock management- Responsible for overseeing Sales and Customer Service- Re-ordering stock with vendors when required - Manage the relationship with the vendors- Monthly inventory reporting to Finance- Responsible for the maintenance of the space.
Be the key support of the (farm)acist - Assist in the preparation, presentation, and closing of the Workshops- Ensure the ingredients + utensils required for the Workshops and Consultations are stocked- Be the PIC of the (farm)acy at times when the (farm)acist is in a Consultation or on their day off- In absence of the (farm)acist, conduct the Tea Experience for guests- In time, learn from the (farm)acist how to conduct the Workshops and Consultations
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:

Oversee all daily (farm)acy operations, ensuring the outlet is functioning efficiently and effectively.
Implement and enforce store policies, procedures, and standards.
Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control.
Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and properly merchandised.

Sales and Customer Service:

Drive sales performance to meet and exceed sales targets.
Monitor store performance metrics and implement strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.
Handle customer complaints and issues, ensuring a positive resolution.

Team Leadership and Development:

Recruit, train, and develop store staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate store goals and updates.
Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during all shifts.

Inventory and Financial Management:

Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and tracking inventory.
Conduct regular inventory audits and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Monitor and control store expenses to maintain profitability.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, identifying areas for improvement.

Visual Merchandising:

Ensure that visual merchandising standards are maintained throughout the store.
Coordinate outlet displays and promotional materials to maximize sales.
Keep up-to-date with current retail trends and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure the store complies with all health, safety, and legal regulations.
Conduct regular safety audits and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar retail management role.
Skills:
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in inventory management and financial reporting.
Ability to analyze data and implement effective strategies.
Knowledge of retail management best practices.
