Job Overview: The Video Editor and Creator will be responsible for conceptualizing, editing, and producing high-quality video content for digital platforms. This role requires a combination of creativity, technical skills, and an understanding of video production techniques. The individual will work closely with the marketing and content teams to ensure the video materials align with the brand’s message and objectives. Key Responsibilities:
Video Production:
Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
Shoot, direct, and produce video content when needed, including interviews, product demos, tutorials, advertisements, and social media clips.
Source or create appropriate audio tracks, sound effects, and visual elements.
Video Editing:
Edit raw footage to create cohesive and polished videos, incorporating elements like graphics, animations, and transitions.
Animating 2D Videos on after effect or other similar tools for story telling.
Creative Input:
Provide creative suggestions and ideas for improving storytelling, visual styles, and the overall impact of videos.
Stay updated with the latest trends in video content creation and apply innovative techniques to keep the content fresh and engaging.
Post-Production:
Add captions, subtitles, and text overlays as required.
Export and deliver the final video files in the appropriate formats.
Organize and archive project files systematically for future reference.
Collaboration and Communication:
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure video projects meet deadlines and adhere to the company’s creative guidelines.
Provide progress updates and incorporate feedback from clients or stakeholders into the final edits.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar tools.
Experience with motion graphics, and visual effects.
Strong storytelling and editing skills with attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
Good understanding of video formats, codecs, and exporting for various platforms.
Knowledge of social media platforms and trends in video content creation.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Experience:
2+ years of experience in video editing and content creation.
Experience working in a marketing or creative agency setting.
