JOB PURPOSE
To assess the transportation needs at branch warehouse level, provide secondary freight optimization solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Looking after the movement of finished goods from warehouse to distributor/ projects site, RFQ analysis for secondary transportation.
- Providing the monthly cost analysis for secondary transportation and working on route optimization module.
- Development of new transporter – Small FTL/ Cargo.
- Working on efficiency management – on time delivery for 72Hours as per RREP.
- Creating a centralized process of appointment of transporters and fleet owners, and ensuring all secondary agreements are completed on time.
- Coordinate procedure for lodging/settlement of transit claims on transporters and insurance claims and procedure for recovery of penalty charges from transporters.
- Creating and implementation of SOPs to bring efficiency in system.
- Working on mechanism on the freight tracking.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
B.Com/ MBA/ PGDM (any)
WORK EXPERIENCE
10-12 years of experience

SAP - TMS module
