Summary: As a Technology Strategy & Roadmap Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the Windows administration team, managing the day-to-day operations, and ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our Windows infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Windows server environments, Active Directory, file share migrations, and print server administration, as well as strong leadership and project management skills. Roles & Responsibilities: • Lead and mentor a team of Windows administrators, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. • Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of Windows servers and related infrastructure. • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other core Windows services. • Coordinate and execute file share migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. • Administer and maintain file share environments, including permissions management, quota settings, and data integrity. • Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of print servers, ensuring reliable and efficient print services. • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the Windows infrastructure. • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary improvements. • Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to support various projects and initiatives. • Manage and track IT assets, licenses, and software inventory. • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of the Windows environment and processes. • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Professional & Technical Skills: • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and hybrid environments. • Knowledge of scripting and automation (e.g., Power Shell). • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). • Understanding of DFS, fileshares, NTFS permissions and various storage technologies will be an added advantage. • Knowledge of cloud printing solutions • Understanding of network protocols and security best practices. • Experience in working with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Microsoft Windows Server Administration. - A 15 years full time education is required.
