Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Sweets Salesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sweets and excellent customer service skills. You will be responsible for promoting and selling our delicious range of confectionery products while providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Sales & Promotion:** Actively engage customers to promote and sell our sweets, ensuring all product offerings are well-presented.
- **Customer Service:** Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting them in selecting products.
- **Product Knowledge:** Maintain a thorough understanding of our sweets, including ingredients, flavors, and special dietary options, to effectively communicate with customers.
- **Inventory Management:** Assist in managing inventory levels, restocking shelves, and ensuring products are displayed attractively.
- **Sales Goals:** Meet and exceed sales targets and goals, contributing to overall team performance.
- **Order Processing:** Handle transactions accurately, including cash and credit card processing, and maintain a balanced cash register.
- **Cleanliness & Maintenance:** Ensure the sales area is clean, organized, and complies with health and safety regulations.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in sales or marketing is a plus.
- Previous experience in retail or sales, preferably in the food or sweets industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory.
