Store Sales Executive

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Furniture Store Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. You will assist clients in selecting furniture that meets their needs and preferences, handle transactions, and maintain an organized and inviting store environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers as they enter the store, actively engage with them to understand their needs, and provide personalized product recommendations.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of the store’s product offerings, including furniture styles, materials, and features. Communicate this knowledge effectively to customers.
  • Sales Transactions: Assist customers with the purchasing process, including processing sales transactions, handling returns or exchanges, and addressing any concerns.
  • Visual Merchandising: Help maintain an attractive store layout by setting up displays, arranging furniture, and ensuring that the sales floor is clean and organized.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock replenishment, and report any discrepancies or issues to the Store Manager.
  • Customer Follow-Up: Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Address any after-sales service requests promptly.
  • Sales Goals: Meet and exceed sales targets by actively engaging with customers, promoting store promotions, and upselling additional products or services.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other sales associates and store management to achieve store goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Store Maintenance: Assist with general store maintenance tasks, including cleaning, stocking supplies, and ensuring a safe shopping environment.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably in a furniture or home décor environment, is preferred but not required.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sales skills with the ability to build rapport and close sales.
  • Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and managing inventory.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus.
  • Attributes:
  • Positive and energetic attitude with a customer-focused approach.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Interest in interior design and home furnishings is advantageous.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
