Brief Description
This role involves coordinating with sales, production, quality, and shipping companies to ensure seamless end-to-end shipping activities while adhering to international quality and shipping guidelines. Key responsibilities include managing logistics, ensuring compliance, and fostering effective communication among various stakeholders. The person fulfilling this role should have a high degree of confidence and great communication as they will need to work with multiple people within the organisation including senior most leadership and customer team members also whenever required.
Reports To: Managing Director Key Responsibilities:
Logistics Coordination: Manage and oversee the entire shipping process, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with sales, production, quality, and shipping companies to ensure smooth operations.
Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to all international quality and shipping guidelines.
Communication: Maintain clear and open discussions with internal teams and external partners to coordinate shipments.
Operational Efficiency: Develop and implement strategies to optimize shipping activities and improve operational efficiency.
Quality Assurance: Monitor product quality throughout the shipping process to meet international standards.
Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise in the shipping and logistics process.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the fish processing or export industry.
Strong knowledge of export regulations and logistics management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
