Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Incharge to oversee operations in our Machine Shop and Finishing Department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience specifically in Bogie and Draft Gear Assembly within a manufacturing environment. The Shift Incharge will be responsible for ensuring smooth production operations, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team of technicians and operators.
Key Responsibilities:
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

The Shift Incharge will be responsible for ensuring smooth production operations, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team of technicians and operators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Leadership:
- Lead and supervise a team of technicians and operators in the Machine Shop and Finishing Department.
- Schedule and assign tasks to ensure production targets and deadlines are met efficiently.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Production Oversight:
- Monitor and oversee the manufacturing process to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during production, collaborating with maintenance and engineering teams as needed.
- Implement and enforce safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure finished products meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate production records, including daily production reports, inventory records, and quality assurance documentation.
- Generate reports on production metrics, including efficiency, downtime, and yield, for management review.
- Equipment and Maintenance:
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure all machinery and equipment are properly maintained and serviced.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure timely repairs to minimize downtime and production interruptions.
- B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Foundry Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, specifically in Bogie and Draft Gear Assembly.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, equipment operation, and finishing techniques.
- Proven leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of safety and quality standards in manufacturing.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
