Science Teacher - Sagara
Job Description:
We are seeking a committed and experienced Science Teacher to join our team at a State Syllabus School in Sagara, Karnataka. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons to students in Grades 5, 6, and 7, following the Karnataka State Board syllabus. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of science concepts and the ability to inspire curiosity and interest in the subject among young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons to students in Grades 5, 6, and 7, following the Karnataka State Board syllabus. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of science concepts and the ability to inspire curiosity and interest in the subject among young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the Karnataka State Board Science syllabus for Grades 5, 6, and 7.
- Teach fundamental concepts in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, ensuring clarity and understanding.
- Create engaging lesson plans and learning materials that accommodate various learning styles.
- Conduct experiments and demonstrations to enhance students' understanding of scientific principles.
- Develop students' problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills through inquiry-based learning.
- Assess students' performance through regular tests, assignments, quizzes, and class participation.
- Provide individual support and guidance to students who need extra help.
- Prepare students for periodic, term, and annual exams in accordance with the state syllabus guidelines.
- Maintain a well-organized and disciplined classroom environment that encourages learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress and behavior.
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development sessions.
- Encourage student involvement in science-related extracurricular activities, such as science fairs, quizzes, and competitions.
- Stay updated on new teaching methodologies and advancements in science education.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or a related field.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
- Proven experience teaching Science at the middle school level (Grades 5-7), preferably in a State Syllabus school.
- Strong subject knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Ability to simplify complex scientific concepts for younger students.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with the Karnataka State Board syllabus and examination patterns.
- Classroom management skills and the ability to maintain discipline while encouraging a positive learning environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, with experience using digital tools for teaching.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
