Sales Intern

**Position Overview:**
The Sales Intern will support the sales team in day-to-day operations, gain hands-on experience in sales strategies, and customer relationship management, and contribute to the overall growth of the company. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable insights into the sales process, hone your communication and negotiation skills, and develop a career in sales.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in identifying potential leads and generating new sales opportunities through research and outreach.
- Support the sales team in client meetings, presentations, and follow-ups.
- Manage and update the customer relationship management (CRM) database.
- Assist with preparation and distribution of sales materials and proposals.
- Conduct market research to identify new trends, opportunities, and customer needs.
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on sales strategies.
- Shadow experienced sales representatives and learn about closing deals and maintaining client relationships.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling calls and meetings.
- Analyze sales data to assist in reporting and strategy development.
**Qualifications:**
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Strong interest in sales and business development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable with cold calling, emailing, and customer outreach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) and/or Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot) is a plus but not required.
