Job Summary:
Bottmac India is seeking a qualified Safety Officer to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and contractors. The Safety Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies, conducting site inspections, training employees on safety practices, and ensuring compliance with local and international safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in industrial safety, particularly in the areas of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and fire fighting systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Job Summary:

The Safety Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies, conducting site inspections, training employees on safety practices, and ensuring compliance with local and international safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in industrial safety, particularly in the areas of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and fire fighting systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures to comply with legal regulations and company standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, and Fire Fighting) systems.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and recommend preventive measures.
- Conduct safety training programs for employees and contractors, focusing on industry-specific risks, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and fire safety.
- Maintain safety records, incident reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all occupational safety regulations (OSHA, NFPA, etc.).
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to integrate safety into project planning and execution.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety gear.
- Participate in emergency response planning, drills, and safety meetings.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a safety role, preferably within industrial or construction projects.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and fire fighting systems.
- Experience with risk assessments, safety audits, and accident investigation.
- Strong communication and training skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and other project management tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Safety certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent.
- Experience in large-scale industrial or MEP projects.
- Familiarity with safety management systems (SMS).
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
