Restaurant Hostess
A restaurant hostess's primary responsibility is to make sure guests have a positive experience when they first arrive at the restaurant. Some of their duties include:
Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
Benefits:
- Greeting guests: Welcoming customers as they enter the restaurant
- Managing reservations: Answering phones, scheduling reservations, and confirming reservations
- Seating guests: Guiding guests to their tables or other seating areas
- Providing information: Answering questions, providing menu recommendations, and giving wait time estimates
- Managing the waiting list: Keeping track of walk-ins and providing wait time estimates
- Coordinating with staff: Working with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
- Handling complaints: Addressing guest complaints and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Maintaining the hostess stand: Keeping the hostess stand and lobby area clean and organized
- Assisting with other tasks: Taking to-go orders, processing payments, or helping with other tasks as needed
- Strong interpersonal skills
- A warm, friendly disposition
- Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior management
Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
