About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Customer Research Analyst to join our Service Department. This role is essential in understanding our clients' products, conducting in-depth research on market trends, product demand, pricing strategies, competition, and customer base, both domestically and internationally. The ideal candidate will utilize data-driven insights to provide valuable recommendations that will support the company’s strategic decision-making process in product management, pricing, and market expansion. Key Responsibilities:
Product Understanding: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of the products offered, their unique features, and market positioning.
Market Research: Conduct thorough research on product demand, market trends, and competitive landscape across different regions and countries.
Demand-Supply Analysis: Evaluate the demand and supply dynamics of the product in various markets, identifying potential gaps and opportunities for expansion.
Pricing Analysis: Analyze wholesale and retail pricing strategies, including competitive pricing, market variations, and factors influencing pricing across countries.
Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data analytics tools to extract, interpret, and present insights from various data sources, ensuring data-driven decisions.
Competitive Analysis: Research and analyze competitors' products, pricing, market share, and customer base to provide actionable insights for our clients.
Customer Base Analysis: Identify and segment the customer base, including wholesale and retail customers, to better understand purchasing behavior and market trends.
Reporting & Recommendations: Prepare detailed research reports and presentations summarizing key findings and provide actionable recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
Collaboration: Work closely with the service department, sales, marketing, and product development teams to align research findings with business objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum 2+ years of experience in market research, business analysis, or a related role.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Proficiency in research tools, data analytics, and market intelligence software.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of global markets, pricing strategies, and competitive analysis.
Preferred Skills
Experience in the service or manufacturing industry.
Familiarity with international trade, wholesale, and retail pricing.
Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
