Purchase Officer
Key Responsibilities:
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

- Source and procure goods required for ship chandling, ensuring timely delivery and best pricing.
- Manage relationships with existing vendors, ensuring product quality and service level agreements are met.
- Actively search for and establish relationships with new vendors who can provide high-quality products at competitive prices.
- Evaluate supplier offers, negotiate contracts, and ensure that procurement activities comply with company standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the operations team to ensure stock availability as per vessel requirements.
- Keep track of market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and maintain updated records of purchases, pricing, and other procurement activities.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant shipping, legal, and environmental regulations.
- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the maritime or ship chandling industry.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Ability to source new vendors and build long-term, beneficial relationships.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with vendors, internal teams, and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge of market trends and the ability to analyze product costs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and other relevant software.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
