We are seeking an experienced Purchase Officer to manage procurement activities for transformer components. The role involves vendor management, issuing purchase orders (POs), and ensuring materials align with Bills of Materials (BOM). The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills and proficiency in Excel and Tally ERP. Key Responsibilities:
Source and purchase transformer components like cores, windings, and insulating materials.
Prepare and manage purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery from suppliers.
Analyze Bills of Materials (BOM) to ensure accurate procurement.
Build and maintain vendor relationships, negotiating favorable terms.
Maintain accurate records using Excel and Tally ERP.
Coordinate with inventory and production teams to ensure proper stock levels.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
Experience: 3+ years in procurement, preferably in the transformer or electrical equipment industry.
Skills:
Proficiency in Excel and Tally ERP.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Knowledge of transformer components and materials.
