WORK EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH ORGANIC FOOD COMPANY The Procurement Executive will be responsible for managing the procurement process for FMCG products, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods. The role involves working closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and other departments to ensure that procurement activities align with company goals and strategies. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. **Supplier Management:** - Identify and evaluate potential suppliers. - Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best deals. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers. 2. **Procurement Process:** - Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including requisition, sourcing, and order placement. - Monitor and analyze market trends to identify potential cost-saving opportunities. - Ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues related to supply chain delays. 3. **Inventory Management:** - Collaborate with inventory management teams to ensure optimal stock levels. - Track and forecast inventory requirements to prevent stockouts or overstock situations. 4. **Cost Control:** - Develop and implement strategies to reduce procurement costs while maintaining quality standards. - Conduct regular cost analysis and supplier performance reviews. 5. **Compliance and Reporting:** - Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements. - Prepare and present procurement reports to management. 6. **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** - Work closely with marketing, sales, and production teams to understand product needs and adjust procurement strategies accordingly. - Support new product development by sourcing materials and negotiating with suppliers. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. - [3] years of experience in procurement, preferably in the FMCG sector. - Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively. - Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
