Purpose of the Department Function
Responsible for collecting, validating, processing and analysing direct and indirect spend data, including market price indices and supplier delivery performance data. Generating and distributing standard reports as well as ad hoc analysis and reports. Communication of purchasing reports to internal stakeholders.
Description of the Role
The Purchasing Reporting & Controlling is responsible for:
Collect/define data requirements for Procurement Performance Management
Support the CPO, Category managers, buyers and internal stakeholders
Develop & maintain spend analysis tools to produce meaningful reports
Maintain up to date, accurate and consistent data
Interact with master data team and local buyer for suitable master data concept and maintenance
Release monthly reports to stakeholders
Preparing presentations and charts
Guide Procurement Community in data usage and interpretation
Contributing purchasing data to strategic projects
Key Responsibilities
Transparant and timely data available to stakeholders: Reports produced and circulated on time with no errors
Validation of monthly raw material costs: Completion of required analysis in line with reporting schedule
Key Tasks:
Monitor market price indices and map against Gurit prices
Collect price commenting and forecasting from Category Managers
Capturing and reporting on non-raw material spend
Develop & maintain savings reporting (Direct & Indirect)
Reporting actual and forecast raw material pricing analysis
Highlight gaps or anomalies in pricing
Provide data for management presentations
Support projects with Purchasing data requirements/development
Skills and Experience
Experience: At least 2 years in a manufacturing or purchasing and supply environment
Proven track record in developing spend analysis tools
Purchasing experience within a relevant industry
A solid understanding of data analysis and presentation
Advanced skills in Excel and Power Point; additional D365 and Power BI skills preferred.
Requirements:
Degree qualified in a relevant discipline
C1 level in English
