Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
- Review prescriptions for accuracy and completeness
- Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and interactions
- Monitor patient medication profiles for potential interactions and allergies
- Answer patient questions and address concerns
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Stay up-to-date with new medications, therapies, and industry developments
- Participate in quality improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Diploma in pharmacy
- Strong knowledge of medications, pharmacology, and pharmacy practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
