OT TECHNICIAN
JD FOR SR ONA TECHNICIAN
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Education:
Expected Start Date: 16/10/2024
- Preparation of the Operation Theatre:
- Ensure the OT is properly set up for surgeries with all necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies.
- Perform daily checks on all OT equipment and ensure they are functioning properly.
- Assist in preparing sterile tables and ensuring all instruments are sterile and available.
- Assisting in Surgical Procedures:
- Assist surgeons and nurses during surgeries by passing instruments and maintaining sterility.
- Monitor and assist with the use of OT equipment like suction machines, diathermy, and anaesthesia machines.
- Supervision & Training:
- Supervise junior OT technicians and ensure they are following protocols and maintaining safety and hygiene standards.
- Provide training and mentoring to new OT staff as required.
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and protocols in the OT.
- Patient Care:
- Assist in positioning and preparing patients for surgery.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during all stages of the surgical process.
- Manage post-operative care equipment like ventilators, monitors, etc., in coordination with the nursing team.
- Inventory & Stock Management:
- Keep track of OT inventory and ensure timely availability of consumables and surgical instruments.
- Assist in procurement and stocking of OT materials.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Follow infection control policies and protocols to maintain a sterile environment.
- Adhere to safety regulations and ensure OT staff are compliant with safety protocols.
- Report any incidents or accidents immediately.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain proper records of surgeries, equipment use, and sterilization logs.
- Coordinate with the biomedical team for regular maintenance and servicing of equipment.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Education:
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
- OT TECHNICIAN: 3 years (Preferred)
