Location: Gurgaon
Experience: 10+ years
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator with excellent communication skills and a consultant mindset. The ideal candidate will handle Oracle database migrations, provide insights during projects, and ensure the reliability and performance of databases.
Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain Oracle databases to ensure high performance, security, and availability.
Lead and execute database migrations, upgrades, and patch management.
Develop and implement robust backup and recovery strategies.
Provide consultancy and recommendations on Oracle database best practices to internal teams and clients.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues to enhance system performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless database integration and operation.
Ensure compliance with database security and performance standards.
Maintain documentation for database processes, configurations, and system procedures.

Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in Oracle database administration.
Expertise in database migrations, upgrades, and patching.
Proficiency in Oracle tools like RMAN, Data Pump, and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of database performance tuning, disaster recovery, and backup/recovery strategies.
Experience with scripting languages (Shell, PL/SQL) is a plus.
Oracle Database Administration certification (preferred but not required).
