Science Olympiad Foundation is hiring for MIS Executive role. About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled MIS Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of Microsoft Excel and demonstrate experience in managing and analyzing data to support SOF's mission. Responsibilities
Collect, compile, and analyze data from various sources, including Olympiad registrations, results, and student performance.
Generate comprehensive reports and presentations to support decision-making processes across different departments.
Develop and maintain databases and spreadsheets to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for all Olympiads.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity through rigorous quality checks and validation procedures.
Identify trends and patterns in data to provide insights into student performance, program effectiveness, and areas for improvement.
Provide support to other departments, such as marketing and operations, in data analysis and reporting.
Automate reports and processes using advanced Excel features, including VBA, macros, and pivot tables, to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of proven experience in an MIS role, preferably in the education sector.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VBA, macros, and pivot tables, is essential.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach.
