Rising Star Outreach of India (RSOI) was started in 2004 to work for the upliftment of Persons Affected by Leprosy. RSOI works with Leprosy colonies and CBRs situated in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Orissa and Bihar.
RSOI provides 3 major activities for the People Affected by Leprosy, they are 1. Education, 2. Medical support and 3. Colony Development Activities.
Media Coordinator Profile:
We are looking for a Media Coordinator who can capture quality photographs and videos with emotions and can communicate in English well. Should be knowledgeable in Social Media platforms.

Job Duties and Responsibilities for Media Coordinator Profile

• To make photos and videos that can able to establish an emotional connection with the viewer.
• Should visit various places across the country and take pictures and videos of the students and beneficiaries in non-discriminatory ways.
• Should coordinate with the Media Manager of Rising Star Outreach, USA.
• To take photos and videos of the events happening in the Rising Star Campus and in other places relevant to RSOI.
• Select and assemble proper equipment, and choose settings and props based on the requirements wishes, and theme of the photo and video shoot.
• Retouch, resize and enhance images and videos as needed using proper editing software.

Required Skills:
· Able to handle professional cameras.
· High proficiency in Video editing and Photo editing skills
· Ability to capture candid pictures which can communicate the emotional feeling of the people.
· Excellent communication skills
· Good analyzing and decision-making attitude
Education Qualification –
Bachelor in Mass Media / Journalism, BSc Visual Communication, Bachelor in Film Technology, Courses with Digital Photography, Diploma or degree related to photography/videography, Bachelors degree with fulfilling the requirements of the positions.
Willing to work with People Affected by Leprosy and children from a leprosy background and job requires travel occasionally.
Good communication skills (mandatory)

Salary Range: Rs. 25000 to Rs. 35000
