Organization: The Organisation Harley’s Fine Baking , is a European style patisserie (premium cake selling company) created by an IIM professor to disrupt the cake and coffee market, established to spread bonafide taste of the streets of Manhattan across the world. Brought into the world from a love for baking, the desire to create a meeting place that serves delicious food with a warm rustic environment. The Organization offers a full scope of Breads, morning merchandise, cakes, baked and savoury goods. Currently the team size is of about 200 people with more than 15 outlets across Hyderabad, along with a plan of opening 100 new outlets across Mumbai, Goa, Vijayawada, Bangalore, Chennai scaling up to 1000 people over the next year.
Designation : Store Material Handling Executive / Coordinator
Experience: Candidates with minimum 1+ year experience in material handling, inventory management, or a related field. Candidates from retail or food and beverage environment is preferred.
Qualification: High School diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
Maximum Salary: Upto INR 18,000/- per month ( as per experience and expertise ) + Other facilities
Job Profile: The Store Material Handling Executive is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials within the store. This role ensures that all stock is organized, accessible, and accounted for, while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
1. Receive and inspect incoming stock for accuracy and quality.
2. Organize and store materials in designated areas, ensuring efficient retrieval.
3. Conduct regular inventory counts and update records to maintain accurate stock levels.
4. Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
5. Assist in loading and unloading deliveries, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
6. Manage stock rotation to ensure freshness of products and minimize waste.
7. Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and disposals.
8. Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the Store Manager.
9. Prepare inventory reports and assist in audits as required.
10. Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies regarding material handling.
11. Ensure that the storage areas are clean, organized, and comply with sanitation standards.
12. Work closely with the sales team to ensure timely stock availability for customer orders.
13. Assist in training new staff on proper material handling and safety procedures.
Required Skills:
1. Familiarity with material handling processes and equipment.
2. Strong ability to organize and manage inventory effectively.
3. Keen attention to detail in inspecting and managing stock.
4. Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office (Excel).
5. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
