Market Research Intern
Post-Harvest Handling Support:
- Assist in the sorting, grading, and packing of agricultural products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Support the implementation of best practices in post-harvest handling to reduce damage and quality deterioration.
Storage and Inventory Management:
- Help monitor storage conditions (e.g., temperature, humidity) to maintain the quality of stored produce.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and record-keeping.
Quality Control Assistance:
- Participate in quality inspections of produce during the post-harvest process.
- Support the team in maintaining and monitoring quality control standards.
Logistics and Transportation:
- Assist in coordinating the transportation of produce from farms to storage facilities and markets.
- Help track and manage logistics to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
Data Collection and Reporting:
- Collect and analyze data related to post-harvest operations, including quality metrics and inventory levels.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports on post-harvest activities and performance.
Stakeholder Interaction:
- Support communication with farmers, suppliers, and logistics providers to facilitate smooth operations.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions related to post-harvest management.
Sustainability Initiatives:
- Assist in identifying opportunities to reduce post-harvest losses and waste.
- Support the implementation of sustainable practices in post-harvest operations.
