Job Title: Import Export Sales Executive Location: Shapar , Rajkot Department: Sales and Marketing Reports To: Sales Manager / Director of Sales Job Summary: The Import Export Sales Executive is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to increase company sales and profits through imports and exports. This role involves market research, customer relationship management, negotiation with suppliers and clients, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. Key Responsibilities: Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential markets and customers for import and export. Analyze market trends and conditions to understand competitors and market demands. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals. Sales and Customer Management: Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients. Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients. Negotiate sales contracts and terms with clients and suppliers. Provide after-sales support to retain customers and ensure satisfaction. Logistics and Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods. Oversee the documentation process for imports and exports, including customs clearance. Manage inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team for stock management. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and export/import policies. Keep updated with changes in trade laws and regulations affecting company operations. Prepare and submit necessary documentation for customs clearance and other regulatory requirements. Financial Management: Monitor sales budgets and analyze financial performance. Prepare reports on sales activities and outcomes. Collaborate with the finance team to manage payments, pricing, and tariffs. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns. Collaborate with product development teams to ensure products meet market demands. Provide training and support to junior sales staff and other departments as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in sales, preferably in import/export or international trade. Strong understanding of international trade regulations and compliance. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. Ability to travel internationally as required. Skills and Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. High level of organizational and multitasking skills. Fluency in multiple languages is a plus. Working Conditions: Full-time position with occasional travel.
