JOB DESCRIPTION: HOUSEKEEPING EXECUTIVE Overview: The Housekeeping Executive will lead the housekeeping team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the property. He will be responsible for planning and coordinating staff activities, conducting inspections, managing equipment and supplies, and addressing customer complaints. Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure efficiency and high standards of cleanliness.
Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to maintain consistency and quality.
Plan, coordinate, and supervise the activities of housekeeping staff and supervisors.
Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and monitor staff performance to ensure optimal productivity and adherence to standards.
Conduct regular inspections of all areas to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards are consistently met.
Address any deficiencies immediately and implement corrective actions as needed.
Select, purchase, and maintain inventory of housekeeping equipment and supplies.
Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and supplies are adequately stocked.
Listen to and promptly address customer complaints and specific needs related to housekeeping services.
Ensure exceptional customer service by meeting and exceeding guest expectations.
Maintain close coordination with help/information desk, housekeeping supervisors to handle usual and unusual guest requests effectively.
Facilitate communication and collaboration to enhance overall guest experience.
Share daily activity highlights, including internal and external guest opportunities, with the Executive Housekeeper.
Ensure that relevant information is communicated to the appropriate departments in a timely manner.
Assist the Executive Housekeeper in fulfilling administrative responsibilities and monitoring departmental activities.
Assist Operations Manager to prepare reports, manage budgets, and maintain records related to housekeeping operations.
Ensure that all decisions are aligned with the overall objectives and standards of the organization.
Qualifications & Experience
Proven 5+ experience in housekeeping management or a related field.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of industry standards for cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation.
