HOUSEKEEPING JOB DESCRIPTION
A housekeeper's responsibilities vary depending on the setting, but typically include cleaning and maintaining an environment: Housekeeper Responsibilities:
- Cleaning: Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and wash floors, windows, and mirrors
- Sanitising: Clean and disinfect bathrooms,Toilet, showroom, and other areas
- Stocking: Maintain supplies and replenish toiletries
- Organising: Keep Showroom or Office organised and tidy
- Reporting: Report breakages, damages, and safety issues
- Guest services: Respond to guests' requests and provide basic information
- Inventory: Maintain an inventory of housekeeping supplies
- Safety: Follow safety and sanitation policies, and use proper body mechanics
- Infection control: Observe infection control procedures and keep harmful chemicals safely stored
- Keeping facilities and common areas clean and maintained.
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
- Cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment.
- Notifying managers of necessary repairs.
- Collecting and disposing of trash.
- Assisting guests when necessary.
- Properly cleaning upholstered furniture.
