Job Summary: The Shifting In-Charge is responsible for overseeing the logistical aspects of the shifting and movement of goods within a warehouse or distribution center. This role involves managing schedules, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring that all shifting operations are conducted efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement shifting schedules and plans to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods.
· Coordinate with warehouse staff, drivers, and other relevant teams to streamline shifting operations

• Monitor and adjust shifting plans as needed to address any issues or delays.

· Oversee the execution of shifting tasks, including loading, unloading, and movement of goods within the facility.
· Ensure proper handling and placement of goods to prevent damage and optimize space utilization.
· Maintain accurate records of goods movements and inventory levels.
· Supervise and lead a team of shift operators and other warehouse personnel.
· Provide training and guidance to staff on best practices for shifting operations.
· Conduct performance evaluations and address any performance issues.
· Ensure all shifting operations adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
· Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
· Maintain compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
· Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shifting operations.
· Investigate and troubleshoot operational problems, implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
· Prepare and submit regular reports on shifting activities, performance metrics, and any incidents.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to goods movements and operational procedures.

· Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to apply innovative solutions to shifting operations.
Qualifications: Graduation or Postgrad a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in logistics, warehousing, or a related field.
Skills:

• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Good understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficient in using logistics and warehouse management software.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
