job Title: Gynecologist
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Patient Care and Consultation
:Provide routine and specialized care related to women’s reproductive health, including diagnosis and treatment of gynecological conditions
.Conduct regular physical examinations such as pelvic exams, Pap sm
3. Diagnosis and Treatment: - Diagnose and treat gynecological disorders such as endometriosis, ovarian cysts, STIs, and other conditions affecting reproductive organs.Perform surgical procedures such as hysterectomies, laparoscopies, and treatments for reproductive cancers.
4. Fertility and Family Planning:
Advise patients on birth control options, infertility treatments, and reproductive health.Perform procedures like intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), and other assisted reproductive technologies (ART).
5. Menstrual Disorders and Menopause:
Provide treatments for menstrual irregularities, heavy bleeding, and hormonal imbalances
.Offer care for women undergoing menopause, including hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and management of menopausal symptoms
.6. Preventive Health and Education:Educate patients on sexual health, contraception, and preventive measures for gynecological diseases
.Provide guidance on maintaining a healthy reproductive system through lifestyle choices and regular check-ups
.7. Collaboration and Referrals:Collaborate with other healthcare professionals like oncologists, endocrinologists, and primary care physicians.
Refer patients to specialists when needed for further diagnosis or treatment.8. Record Keeping and Compliance:
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories, treatments, and test results.Ensure compliance with medical regulations and patient safety protocols.
Required Qualifications:Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.Completion of an obstetrics and gynecology (OB-GYN) residency program.Board certification in gynecology.
Valid medical license.
