LEPRA Society is an organisation working for people affected by Leprosy, lymphatic filariasis, TB, HIV/AIDS & other NTDs, Eye Care and governed by a board comprising of distinguished individuals from across India.
About Position:
This position will mainly focus on fundraising for CSR. In addition, will also be responsible for promoting the LEPRA brand and raising awareness about the organisation in the public, through social media. Build an increasing, diversified, network of supporters and mobilise funds to meet current and future needs. LEPRA Society is looking for a dynamic and self-propelled professional to join us for the above position based at Head Office, Cherlapally, Hyderabad, Telangana. The position(s) is open for immediate appointment S/he shall :
Identify prospects; build and maintain a pipeline to grow donor partnerships
Build new relationships through a series of personal visits, meetings, events and follow up practices
Evaluate success and progress of accomplishing goals and refine business tactics as needed
Develop a deep understanding of LEPRA Society’s mission and goals to effectively communicate to the giving community
Fundraising events management
Set up partnerships for online and offline events
Knowledge of operational issues in organizing exhibitions and promotional events
Interact with corporate, media and sponsors to partner in the events
Participate in all activities , public engagement and other activities as per organizational requirements
Ensure that all the field generated information is properly entered and documented in the prescribed form
Ensure confidentiality of information pertaining to the organization
Any other tasks assigned by the line manager
What you would need to have
Graduate from a recognized university with 1-2 years of Sales/Marketing experience (or) Graduates with 2-3 years of experience in Business Development/Sales/ Events Management/ PR/CSR.
Market analysis and research.
Proven end to end sales skills- prospecting, pipeline management , closing and negotiation
Ability to deliver presentations
Ability to multi-task and deliver quality results
Excellent communication skills –Written & Verbal (English , Hindi and Regional language)
Willing to travel local/outstation as and when required.
Should be sensitive to the cause of the organization
