Job Summary: The Education Counselor is responsible for providing academic and career advice to students. This role involves assessing students' educational backgrounds, interests, and goals to help them choose appropriate courses, programs, and institutions. The counselor also supports students in navigating the application process and offers guidance on career opportunities post-graduation. Key Responsibilities:
Student Counseling:
Meet with students individually or in groups to discuss their educational and career goals.
Assess students' academic performance, interests, and skills to recommend suitable courses, programs, or careers.
Provide information on various educational programs, admission requirements, and scholarship opportunities.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Previous experience in educational counseling or a similar role.
Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds.
