1. **Patient Care:**
- Provide initial assessment, treatment, and management of all patients.
- Ensure timely rounds for admitted patients, monitoring their condition, and updating their records.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide immediate medical care as needed.
- Ensure proper documentation of the patient’s history, clinical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
2. **Coordination with Medical Staff:**
- Liaise with consultants, specialists, and nursing staff for treatment and management decisions.
- Follow up on investigations, prescriptions, and treatment as advised by the senior doctors or consultants.
- Communicate critical information to patients and their families in a clear and compassionate manner.
3. **Emergency Response:**
- Attend to all patients coming to the emergency department promptly.
- Manage emergency cases, including trauma, cardiac arrests, and other critical conditions, with appropriate medical intervention.
- Perform life-saving procedures like intubation, resuscitation, and administering emergency medications.
4. **Supervision and Support:**
- Supervise and guide junior medical staff, interns, and nurses on medical procedures and patient care.
- Ensure that all hospital policies and procedures, particularly those related to patient safety, are followed.
5. **Administrative Duties:**
- Ensure that all medical records are properly maintained and updated in the hospital management system.
- Monitor and report any medical equipment malfunctions or shortages of supplies.
- Complete patient discharge summaries and handover notes for incoming medical staff during shift changes.

- Adhere to all regulatory and hospital policies, including infection control measures and safety protocols.
