Draftsman Designer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
- Technical Drawings: Prepare and modify detailed drawings, layouts, and schematics for material handling systems and equipment using CAD software.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with design, project and production teams to translate concepts into actionable drawings that align with project specifications and client needs.
- Design Modifications: Revise and update existing drawings based on feedback from engineers, project managers, and clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Documentation Management: Maintain a comprehensive filing system for all drafts and revisions, ensuring that all documentation is organized and easily accessible.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of drawings to ensure precision, completeness, and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.
- Site Assessments: Participate in site visits to gather information and insights to inform design modifications and ensure designs fit actual conditions.
- Client Interaction: Assist in presenting design concepts and solutions to clients, incorporating their feedback into project revisions.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with advancements in material handling technologies and drafting techniques to enhance productivity and design quality.
- Education: Diploma / BE / B.Tech (Mechanical Only).
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in drafting, particularly in engineering or manufacturing environments related to material handling.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Solid Works software and familiarity with 3D modeling tools is a must.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and high-quality technical drawings.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills to address design challenges and propose effective solutions.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
