Job Description: Qualification: Minimum Graduation in any stream Age: Not less than 35 years and not more than 50 years. Experience: He/ She must have experience of a minimum of 15 years in administrative work of which he/she should have at least 10 years of experience in the Education Establishment, 5 Years out of which should be in the post of Office Superintendent or equivalent. Knowledge of government regulatory rules, University rules and regulations is a must and knowledge of accreditation processes is desirable. Knowledge of Marathi is also essential. Duties and Responsibilities:
To guide, monitor and supervise the work of the employees in accordance with the Act, Statutes, Ordinances, Rules and Regulations of the university and provide administrative support to teaching staff for their academic work.
To look after the work of college affiliation, staff recognition, compliance and the procedure for the recruitment, ranking/grading approvals of university and other regulatory bodies. Will also be supporting the Principal in the functioning of the statutory committees and bodies of the college.
Liasoning with the office of Jt. Director, Higher and Technical Education, Office of Deputy Director, Schools Education as well as various sections of the University of Mumbai
To give administration support for the implementation of student life cycle/activities from registration/ admission to graduation and ensure that these are conducted as per the rules and policies
To organize, and coordinate statutory meetings and prepare minutes of all meetings
To oversee budget, audit activities and manage grants received along with the required compliances.
To coordinate with and admin support to the exam department in the process of examination from conducting examinations, evaluation and declaration of results.
