About Us: We are an exciting new seafood restaurant in the heart of Panaji, blending Goan and Portuguese culinary traditions to offer fresh, locally sourced seafood in a unique dining experience. We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) to join our growing kitchen team and contribute to our innovative seafood menu. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing and cooking dishes to the restaurant’s high standards. - Take responsibility for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring all dishes are prepared according to recipes and presentation guidelines. - Work closely with the Sous Chef and CDP to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen during service. - Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food hygiene and safety standards. - Assist in the training and supervision of junior kitchen staff. - Ensure that ingredients are properly prepared and stored, and help manage inventory for your section. - Collaborate with the team on menu planning and special dishes. Qualifications: - Previous experience as a DCDP or Commis Chef in a seafood or fine dining environment is preferred. - Knowledge of Goan, Portuguese, and seafood-focused cuisine is a plus. - A passion for cooking with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. - Ability to follow instructions, work well under pressure, and be proactive in the kitchen. - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes. - A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
