About this opportunity:
We're currently seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to ensure that our IT services are delivered optimally to all stakeholders and end users. This role involves the technical and procedural delivery of services related to our IT Infrastructure Operations India portfolio.
What you will do:
Manage, configure, and maintain DNS and DHCP servers (Infoblox, Microsoft, Linux-based).
Implement and troubleshoot dynamic and static IP address assignments, DHCP scopes, leases, and options.
Ensure optimal performance, redundancy, and availability of DNS and DHCP services.
Perform DNS zone transfers, delegation, and management of forward/reverse DNS zones.
Apply DNS security practices including DNSSEC, Anycast routing, and protection against DNS-based attacks.
- DDI Solutions Implementation:
Design and deploy DDI infrastructure, including new DNS and DHCP services and IPAM tools.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of DNS/DHCP configurations and IP addressing schemes.
Integrate DNS, DHCP, and IPAM with network and cloud platforms for automation and scalability.
- Network Support & Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve DNS and DHCP issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- IP Address Management (IPAM):
Maintain and update the organization’s IP address allocation plan.
Utilize IPAM tools to monitor, track, and manage IP address usage across the network.
Develop scripts to automate DNS/DHCP configurations, changes, and monitoring (e.g., using Python, Ansible, Power Shell).
Implement and support automation of DDI processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual errors.
The skills you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Install and maintain all linux server( hardware and software systems) and administer all server performance and ensure availability.
- Linux Maintenance/Troubleshooting: RHEL, Cent OS, Solaris
- 3+ years of experience managing DNS and DHCP services in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of DNS protocols (e.g., BIND, dnsdist, Anycast) and DHCP servers (e.g., Infoblox, ISC DHCP).
- Proficiency in IP Address Management (IPAM) solutions and integration with cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with DNS and DHCP security best practices, including defence against DDo S attacks, DNS poisoning, etc.
- Experience with networking technologies such as TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, Power Shell) for automation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications: CCNA, Network+, or Infoblox Certified (IBITP).
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DDI service integration.
Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, etc
