Job brief An effective customer representative must be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone as well as dealing with complaints and doubts. The goal is to help the company grow by bringing in customers and developing business. Responsibilities:
Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about product or service they signed up for
Answer questions about products (post training)
Ask questions to understand customer requirements and help them to maintain their account balance
Take and process orders in an accurate manner
Enter and update customer information in the database
Keep records of calls and note useful information
Follow the quality matrix diligently
Requirements:
Proven experience as customer care representative or other customer service roles
Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
Excellent command over the language
Minimum 2 years work experience required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection
Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
